Watch 200 volunteers from Fairytale Brownies (@ftbrownies), Arizona Autism Charter School (@AZAutismCharter), organizers from KaBOOM! (@kaboom) and the community join forces to build students a much-needed playground at the Arizona Autism Charter School on Friday, March 31, 2017. The playground design is based on the children’s “dream playground” created at a special design event in January. Also, a special thanks to our videographers who provided us with amazing build-day footage: AZACS Board members Ron Harrison and Genaro Delgadillo as well as Obed Gonzales, Jose Martinez, Eduardo Acosta!

    Arizona Governor Doug Ducey visited AZACS as part of his "Back to School Tour." The Governor's Office of Education, chose six public schools for the tour that exemplify academic excellence, innovation and exceptional leadership. His visit also included his attendance (and speech) during our ribbon-cutting event for the new upper school campus. We were so grateful to have the opportunity to showcase our program to our state's top leader!
