About Ms. Bonilla

My name is Pilar Bonilla and I am an ABA Program Supervisor at the Elementary Campus. This is my first year with AZACS and I am incredibly excited to work with all of the wonderful students and staff!

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Illinois State University and began working in the field of autism upon moving to Scottsdale. The last few years, I have been working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with organizations serving the autism population across the valley. I found my passion for Applied Behavior Analysis in the school setting when working at a private autism academy for students with intense/complex behaviors. In May, 2018 I completed my Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University under the mentorship of Dr. Adam Hahs. In August I will sit for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board exam to obtain certification and become a licensed BCBA!

Working at AZACS on the Behavior Team is my dream job, and I am so grateful for every opportunity that has brought me here. The most important things in my life are my family, my dog, and my students. I always put 110% into my job, and I can’t wait to work with everyone this upcoming school year!
