About Mr. Auna
My name is D’Von Kaha’awi Auna. I am from the beautiful islands of Hawaii and come from a rich Hawaiian culture and Ohana (Family). I have officially adjusted to the Desert life and have embraced the culture and diversity of Arizona.
This is my second year teaching at AZACS. I have received a Bachelor’s of Social Work from Brigham Young University- Hawaii and completed 3 years of graduate school at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I have also received my Substitute teaching certificate upon moving to AZ from HI. I plan on furthering my education with a Masters of Education (SPED).
It is my privilege to work with your child and I have a lot of great plans and activities for this 2019-20 school year. I want to help your child excel academically and move towards becoming an independent citizen of society.
Please feel free to contact me via email, and class Dojo! This is going to be an amazing year.
