Welcome

About Ms. Wurth

Marie was born in Kentucky and lived all over the United States, Japan, Germany due to her father’s career in the Army. Her high school prom and graduation ceremony were held in the Heidelberg Castle in Heidelberg, Germany. Marie comes to AZACS with extensive education and experience in management and human resources. Her degree in Business Administration coupled with an emphasis in Human Resources Management paved the way for her career.

She worked for many years in a hospital where she was in the position of Vice President over Human Resources and Public Relations which included 10 departments reporting to her. The second half of her career led her to the education field. She follows other family members in this endeavor as her husband is a middle school science teacher and her daughter and daughter-in-law are both elementary teachers. In the education area, Marie has had the pleasure of working as a Business Administrator, Human Resources Director, and Office Manager. Some of her responsibilities include preparing budgets, writing and monitoring grants, human resources, employee benefits, payroll, and office management.

Marie views her position as HR & Office Manager at AZACS as one of service. She believes she is responsible to take the barriers out of the way for staff so they can concentrate on students. This includes having their pay and benefits working correctly, getting them the items they need to do the job and to have established smooth processes. Staff should not have to worry about these areas and feel confident they will be taken care of properly.

She feels blessed to work at AZACS and has deep admiration for the leaders and the staff. “A remarkable team of professionals working for the benefits of their students and families.”
