About Ms. Shelley

Hello AZACS Families!

My name is Breann Shelley and I am honored to be the Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant for a second year at the Upper Campus.

I am originally from Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!) but I grew up in the beautiful dry heat of Arizona. I went to elementary school and high school in the West Valley before moving to the dorms to start my college career at GCU. I studied there for a year to be a high school English teacher. Upon deciding that was not the path for me I moved back home and went to community college for speech and hearing science. I fell in LOVE! Graduated with my Associate's degree and transferred to ASU to finish up my Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science.

The summer before my senior year of college I began working on my license application to become an SLPA. I worked in a few settings including: three different schools and a clinic to receive the appropriate hours and training required. This is my third year as an SLPA.

I stumbled upon AZACS one day and my life has been forever changed since! The students who attend this school are among the best to work with; every single day is new and different. I have seen the growth over the last year and I am so excited for what is to come.
