About Ms. Fields
Welcome AZACS Families to the 2018-2019 School Year!
My name is Gentry Fields and I am the Upper Campus Functional Academic Program Supervisor. I am entering my second year with AZACS and I am so excited about the opportunities that await all of us in the upcoming School Year.
I wanted to share my journey that has led me to AZACS. I have been working in the field of autism for the last 11 years. I received my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education in 2006. I began working in an elementary life skills classroom in 2007 and knew that I wanted to pursue my career in special education. I obtained my SLP-Assistant license in 2009. While working as an SLP-Assistant, I received my Masters of Special Education with Applied Behavior Analysis coursework in 2014 and continued educating children with autism. This upcoming 2018-2019 school year I will be working towards completing the final steps in obtaining my BCBA Certification and sitting for my exam in February 2019.
My husband, son and I moved from Texas and are absolutely loving Arizona. We are very grateful for the opportunities that AZACS has provided our family. l look forward to working with each and every one of you. Welcome to our “Wolfpack!”
