About Mrs. Smith

Cindi Smith was originally from Oklahoma and moved to Arizona with her Mom. If she wasn't in school, she was out backpacking in the high mountains, desert or fishing at the lakes or creeks.

Cindi has been married for 31 years and had three boys. While raising three boys, she attended the Occupational Therapy program at Midwestern University. Life in the Smith's household had challenges, but with her optimistic outlook on life, teaching her son's that either had T1d, autism or oppositional defiant disorder; challenges became opportunities.

Cindi works as an OT, but empathy from life experiences enhance her OT skills for each AZACS student. Every student has a story and understanding that will increase awareness on how to guide them through their day to be better learners.

Cindi loves writing children's books, teaching, tai chi, and the outdoors.
