About Aleta Gonzales
My name is Aleta Gonzales, and I have been working with students with special needs for 13 years. I started as a 1:1 for a student with Autism, and from there realized the Autism Community needed educated and highly trained people to work with them and advocate for their needs. I received my Master’s in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism and Severe Disabilities from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. I worked as a teacher in an Autism program for 10 years, 7 of which I was the department lead and an Administrator as well. This is my first year at AZACS, and I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing school and team.
