About Ms. Cornejo
My name is Vannesa Cornejo, and I am an Instructional Lead Teacher for 5th grade Modified/ Academic students. I was born and raised right here in Arizona and understand that the true value of education begins with your community. I sparked a passion for this field when I was in high-school and began volunteering for multiple SPED programs throughout the west valley. Since then, I have specifically obtained the proper knowledge, experience, and certification in special education and ABA therapy. I have proudly served as a behavior technician/ therapist for almost 3 years now and am truly honored to be able to spend my first year at AZACS as an educator.
When I’m not spending my free time playing video games or reading a good book, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family. I also absolutely love being outside when the weather decides to be nice and want to experience everything the world can possibly offer during this lifetime.
I’m so excited to be part of such a wonderful team and look forward to making a positive impact. If you need anything from me or would like to contact me out for whatever reason, you can always reach me via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
